help with creating quizzes

Hi, I wanted to create some quizzes, but I can't figure out how to do the scoring thing. Can someone explain it to me? Thanks.

follow these steps careful.
click on the quiz system link
there click on create one of your own.
if you want to create a quiz with one question, type 1, and then the required choices
you must also type in the question to precent it to the quiz player
in the next screen, type the number for the score points for answering the question right, and the score matching interval.
note, choose a quiz title for your quiz.

I understand creating the questions, the only thing I don't understand is the scoring interval. For example, if I had 20 questions with 4 answers each, how would I do the scoring?
